my welcoming spring

Spring has sprung here! Finally! After a rather long and cold winter, we are finally starting to breath the soft breezes of spring. The sun is starting to feel a little warmer. The moments are fleeting, but we will take what we can get. I am sure at the end of summer I will be praying for cold breezes...but thats how it goes. We had the most amazing rainbow in the backyard the other day. It was so colorful and HUGE. It was a full arch and it was the most awesome rainbow I had ever seen...and we lived in Hawaii for a couple of years....

We do love traveling down 10th when the blossoms are blooming. Trees line the street for a few miles and it is just pretty. All the white blossoms down a staight road. It makes it feel new and fresh and pretty.

We did get some pretty blossoms on our baby cherry tree and they were pretty. I hope this tree turns out okay and can give us some SHADE on that side of our house.

I think Sadie had a rough night. Reese actually took this picture of her. It just makes me laugh. Her hair is so cotton candy and it is constantly sporting this look...

my Easter 2009

Easter was really fun. We of course dyed eggs and had a hunt, in the house b/c it was raining on Sunday. I made a DELICIOUS turkey dinner. I was really proud of myself. Mom and Evan came over and brought some goodies. Audrey was so fast to find eggs and just zipped around, whereas Reese & Sadie slowly meandered around opening a few pieces.

How can you not want to snuggle with these 2 angels? There is nothing I love more than sleeping with sleeping babies:) I only wish Michael loved it as much as I do....

my audrey's eyes

Have you ever noticed that Audrey has beautiful eyes? Have you ever noticed that her right eye has more green in it than the left? I love the color in her eyes, they are almost 2 different eye colors....love it!

my 32nd birthday

I am officially 32. I had another good birthday. It was Sunday and the weather was magnificent! I got my eyebrows waxed for the first time, which turned out to be a great experience. I got my hair cut and I had a nice long nap.

Michael bought a ton of these huge strawberries that were so good and we ate at my Mom's house for dinner. She made the most ridiculously decadent Reese's peanut butter cake. It was so rich and yummy, I thought I couldn't eat another peanut butter cup....at least for a couple of days. It was a nice birthday:)
