my first musical

Audrey's school kindergarten classes performed all the songs and poems that they had learned throughout the year to their families on Tues. May 26th. The theme was in the Jungle. It was so cute and Audrey did a great job. She played the bongos first off with Brady. All the kids were really cute waving and staring blankly while they sang the songs. It was fun. Grandma Hazel and Grandma and Grandpa Blodgett came to watch.

the Huff visit

Reese is always on the lookout for a tree to climb. We will be driving around town and he will say, "Mom, that looks like a good climbing tree." For some reason he LOVES it!

It was a quick visit, but we had fun! We drove to the Palouse Falls, went out to eat a lot (which was my favorite part). It was nice to have all the adult help around the house too to entertain the kids! The kids loved loved loved the visit as well and were pretty sad the day the Huffs left.

Yeah!! I finally got Sadie's hair into pig tails... Isn't she too cute! My babies hairs' always grow very very slowly.

my welcoming spring

Spring has sprung here! Finally! After a rather long and cold winter, we are finally starting to breath the soft breezes of spring. The sun is starting to feel a little warmer. The moments are fleeting, but we will take what we can get. I am sure at the end of summer I will be praying for cold breezes...but thats how it goes. We had the most amazing rainbow in the backyard the other day. It was so colorful and HUGE. It was a full arch and it was the most awesome rainbow I had ever seen...and we lived in Hawaii for a couple of years....

We do love traveling down 10th when the blossoms are blooming. Trees line the street for a few miles and it is just pretty. All the white blossoms down a staight road. It makes it feel new and fresh and pretty.

We did get some pretty blossoms on our baby cherry tree and they were pretty. I hope this tree turns out okay and can give us some SHADE on that side of our house.
