I am trying to 'plan' a family reunion for this summer...does anyone know of any family history games or a fun activity to learn about family history?

What I would do if I were suddenly a millionaire....
oh, if only! i would pay off my house, go on a shopping spree and buy anything and everything that my little heart desired. Go back to hawaii, visit all of our families...travel to new zealand. put the rest in the bank.

1. biting my fingernails...i know this is gross, but i do it when i am anxious or stressed.
2. eating a whole carton of ice cream in 2 days.
3. spending too much time on the computer.

This last week I have spent most of my time removing Sadie from our table, or a chair or a dresser. Sometimes I am too late and she tumbles...hopefully this new climbing "activity" will not cause her any permanant damage down the road. I guess I will need to turn all my chairs on their sides and live like an animal.

my disgusting confession

In case you are wondering what this is, it is a lump of (almost) half eaten snicker-doodle cookie dough. I started to make these cookies on Tueseday in hopes of passing them out on Valentine's day. After I mixed all the ingredients I wrapped it in plastic wrap to chill. I then got too busy to finish them off and bake them. I pulled the dough out Tues. night and nibbled at it, then Wed. I pulled it out and nibbled some more...Then Thurs. and now Friday....As I was holding a piece of delicious cold snicker-doodle dough at my lips this morning, I had the sudden urge to throw it against the wall.

What have I become?

When it comes to sugar, I am at its mercy. Sugar has a profound effect on me that I have yet to overcome. I am disgusted that I ate so much of this plop of dough. I would sneek bites b/c I did not want Michael to know what I was doing. I was ashamed. Would he think I was like an animal, ravounesly eating in the dark? Audrey asked me what that dough was, and I told her it was for bread. Would she want to eat some of my "precious", that I hovered over? I am like an addict, hiding my secret. Hopefully I can get this monkey off my back....eventually. But at this stage in my life, I still need my sugar high:)

I have always appreciated the festidiousness of Audrey. She is an impecible orgainzer. This has always amazed me, her ability to be so meticulous when arrainging her "treasures". I mean, look at the Barbie shoe line up...that is impressive. However she has adapted the old adage "out of site, out of mind" when I ask her to clean up or put clothes away. I am constantly finding mounds of items secretly stashed under her bed, in dresser drawers, or thrown in her closet. When I finally discover said items, I make her put everything away, under my supervision...but where does the stashing habit come from? She is always in a rush, perhaps that has something to do with it. Well, in the meantime, I will appreciate her obsessively compulsive organizing. Perhaps her pick-up skills with catch up someday.

We enjoyed all the snow and ice this week. The kids (& I) built a snow tunnel.
